"Sanitary pads should be FREE....Condoms should be SOLD...."



The topic of 'menstruation' was something that was NEVER discussed publicly.And even when we (females) discuss it, it's alwaysin a coded language. 

That was until late October of 2016 (to present date); When the price of sanitary pads flared up from #200/250 to #400 (450 in some places) for the small size and #700 for the big size. The sudden inflation has made it almost (if not) impossible for some to afford it, leaving them with no choice but to 'improvise' with what they have,...ranging from toilet papers to pieces of cloth.(Just thinking of it makes me cringe)!

The image above shows the post which instablog9ja shared on the 3rd of January, 2017 which says....

"Sanitary pads should be FREE.....Condoms should be SOLD......sex is a CHOICE......menstruation ISN'T!...."

I completely agree with that! (A lot of people do too). But talking about it and doing nothing won't change a thing. #HelpCampaignTheIssue. And let's hope for a #change!
